As part of their topic ‘Houses and Homes’, primary 4 have been experimenting with the best way to build a wall. 🏡
They are working in pairs to design and build 3 different models, each meeting the criteria of 12cm tall and 15cm wide. They are then carrying out three very technical tests… a blow test, a light table wobble and a heavy table wobble!
They are using the information found to conclude which model would be the most suitable for use in building a house.
So far, many are finding that overlapping the bricks makes for the best structural security.
