Bushmills Day 2
After 4 and a quarter hours of sleep, intermittently interrupted by Mrs McNeill snore-serenading the group, P7 were up fresh and ready for another fun-filled day.
After a bowl of porridge and preparing our own lunch (yes Mums, they can actually do that), we set off for the caves at Ballintoy Harbour.
Just like early caveman, we located shelter, lit a fire and toasted some marshmallows!
After lunch, we set off for an area between Fair Head and Torr Head, called Murlough Bay. The children marched along the cliffs, taking in the stunning scenery off the coast, before descending down the side of the cliffs into the 'jungle' below. This is a truly wonderful experience and the children had a great time.
Back in Bushmills, we had a refuel (roast chicken dinner) and a shower before setting off for the Jett Centre in Coleraine, where we spent 2 hours using up the last of our energy (hopefully) running around the Alleycat play structure.
Supper is scheduled for 10, then it is off to bed. Hopefully, we can all fall asleep before Mrs McNeill finds her 'night-voice' 😊.
