Coding Week 🤖
19th Sep 2023
Today, Primary 3 were looking at making their own algorithms- a sequence of instructions or rules to get something done.
To explore this, we created our own Lego model using 10 bricks. Our challenge was to provide a set of instructions to allow someone else to make our model.
We designed the model, then worked backwards to decompose the model into small steps. Each time we took a brick off, we photographed it next to the model so our instruction-follower could see which brick they would need.
Then we used Spark Video on the iPads to put our photographs into the correct order and allow someone to make our Lego model!
