First full day was full on! After a hearty breakfast, we split into 2 groups. The first group went on a historical Ramble around Spelga Dam and rumour has it, they bumped into some ghosts who gave them a helping hand! The other group conquered fears (and broke some long established records) on the High Ropes. After a great lunch, we all kitted up and went to Castlewellan for canoeing. The weather was beautiful and although it wasn't a race between the 3 boats, Mr Smyth's boat won. For the 8th year in a row.
After dinner, we completed the Night Line which is basically an obstacle course. At night time. Blindfolded. Great craic was had by all. We are currently running around mad (not the teachers, who are wrecked) and will enjoy a hearty supper at 9 before we start settling down for the night.
