The sun was splitting the trees as we awoke this morning and after another hearty breakfast, we split into our 2 groups.
One group headed up to Pigeon Rock to do some scrambling. This consists of crawling in and out of large boulders that have formed natural cavities like caves, as we climbed the mountain. 🗻
The other group went to the large lake located on site to paddle board, canoe, kayak and spend time trying to throw the instructors into the water!!! 🛶
After an excellent lunch (the soup and hand made sandwiches were delicious), the groups swapped over and did the activity they hadn't done earlier.
After a roast dinner, we started the process of packing (I know, already!) and then we got ready for the Nightline. 🌌
This activity requires us to communicate in teams as we navigate our way around a roped off section in the wood… blindfolded!!!! 😱 Some of the instructors also put extra 'obstacles' in the way to make it even harder. It finishes off with a big jump over the creek!
Our last supper was hot chocolate with marshmallows and homemade cookies... 🍪
After a good night's sleep tonight (he says more in hope than expectation), we will do our final activities before arriving back in Sunnylands around 3pm! 💙💛
