P6 were learning to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers using numicon today! The numicon represented our denominator, and the pegs represented the numerator! We had to see how many wholes we could make before writing the ‘leftovers’ or remainders as a fraction! We then had to describe what we had discovered using our maths language!
