In forest school this week we were exploring the symmetry in leaves! We put paper on top of a leaf with the veins facing up and used crayons to rub across the leaf. We saw the amazing patterns and lines of symmetry! 🤩
In class, we then created wax resist leaf art using watercolour paints🎨 We found out that the wax crayon will resist the watercolour paint so the outline and veins of the leaf will show through! 🍃
