Mrs Walsh has been extremely proud of how quickly primary one have been able to learn set one and set two of jolly phonics. We have starting using our initial sounds to begin word building to write and build words such as mat, pat, cat, mit, pit nip etc. Alongside this we have also been learning tricky words to help us with our reading and our writing. We have also made such great progress with our formation. Our favourite way to reinforce our new sounds, tricky words and formations through the use of literacy taskboard...have a look at how we do that!!
