Measuring the Weather ๐ง๏ธ๐๐ฌ๏ธ
1st Feb 2024
In Forest School, Primary 3 have been learning about measuring the weather!
Last week, we created our own rain gauges to track the rain fall! We used a plastic bottle to collect the rain, and then created a scale up the side using a ruler! Finally, we selected the perfect place in the school garden to place them- where they wouldn’t blow over or be sheltered by the trees! โ๏ธ
This week, we created our own wind socks to measure the direction the wind is blowing! We followed the instructions to attach our bag to the hoop, then tied them to the fence in the school playground. ๐จ
