More suggestions for lessons and learning

BBC have now added to their site with an online learning with lessons section. Google BBC Bitesize Daily or go to

www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/primary

Another site offering online lessons is

www.thenational.academy/online-classroom   or Google Oak National Academy. This has been set up in England and therefore if using it you need to remember that Reception is P1, Year 1 is P2 etc.

On facebook you may have seen that Lee Savage from Savage Martial Arts is offering free lessons, you need to have an initial chat to him to get the link. He has sent me his number if anyone wants to contact him about this

RISE are a school service who offer advice to schools for children with ASD etc and general assistance for early years. They have uploaded some advice to parents and this can be accessed at 

www.southerntrust.hscni.net/services/1839.htm  or simply Google RISE NI

Middletown centre for Autism have also produced information and advice etc for parents during this time, again you can simply Google this or they can be found at www.middletownautism.com/covid19 

Hopefully these sites will be of some help and provide a change of pace each day. 

Remember we know that it is impossible to recreate school in your home and that everyone is facing different challenges in home learning. We are always on the end of the phone or email.

We will return to school as soon as we can and we will pick up with your children wherever they are at in the learning process, we will work with you to ensure that they transition back to school and that their education is progressed.

Your job at the minute is to stay safe and stay well, there are I am sure many new skills that your children are learning while at home and these will prove valuable life skills to them in the future.
