We had a fantastic day in Nature Rangers after-school club today, creating our own bird feeders! 🐦
We grated cheese and combined it with lard, raisins and bird seed to make a tasty mixture for the birds! Then we put the mixture into recycled yoghurt pots and plastic containers collected from break time! The mixture was very gloopy, so we had lots of fun and are sure that the birds will enjoy a treat after they harden in the fridge! 🥣
To finish off we used the water butt in the allotment to water the crops with regulated rain water! 🌾👩🏻🌾🌧️
