Northern Ireland Champions has a nice ring to it...and that is exactly the title our football team received today at the finals played in Lurgan! 🏆
A group qualifying record of 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss was good enough to get us into the semi finals.
After a close fought game against a team from Newry which finished 1 each after extra time, we prevailed on penalties to reach the final!
In the final, we met St Johns from Coleraine who had an unbeaten run to the final. Another tense game finished 0-0 after extra time but our very own man of the tournament, John Boy Canavan, saved every penalty he faced to ensure the cup was travelling back to the estate for the first time! 🥇
A massive congratulations to ALL the boys who took part and did our estate proud 🥳.
