Wellie Wednesday was great fun for Primary 1 as they were able to use the outdoor resources to explore the forest the Goldilocks and the 3 Bears were in. They used parts of the forest to make prints in the sand and acted out the various roles in the house belonging to the 3 bears. They made cups of tea for Goldilocks in the mud kitchen and attempted to make 3 different sized chairs for the bears in the construction area. We were pleased to discover the flowers we planted before half term had started to grow so we watered them to make sure they continued to bloom. We used out special clipboards outside to write our tricky words and sounds. Primary 1 are very good at finding sounds and tricky words all around the garden area. In numeracy we thought about the different ways to make 5. Everyone was super at thinking of lots of ways. A very busy day!
