P6 had the opportunity to go to Carrickfergus Grammar School for the day and get their first taste of what ‘Big School’ will really be like! They participated in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths day and got to attend different lessons in PE, ICT, Maths, Physics and Technology and Design! We learnt to code, to build circuits, create magnets, and even do some mind reading in maths (not really, but we did learn a mathematical trick!)
We had a fantastic day and are so thankful to the staff and pupils of CGS for making us feel so welcome!
