P7 visited Oakfield Glen and Bashfordland Wood today as part of our outdoor learning experience. This was our Autumn visit and we plan to visit it each season to complete some Numeracy lessons.
We started the day off by collecting materials as part of our 'factors of 5 and 7' task and then we headed to the river that separates the Glen and Wood.
After successfully navigating our way across, we spent time in the opening creating Forest animals.
Then we enjoyed our break at the exercise park before heading to the Wood where we set up camp before completing our Numeracy Challenge.
The day was capped off by lighting a fire and toasting marshmallows before heading back through the Glen to return back to school.
