Papier-mâché hot air balloons! 🎈

🚨 Messy Art Alert! 🚨

Today, Primary 3 were exploring using a new art technique- papier-mâché!

We are learning all about the weather this half-term, so are making 3D models of hot air balloons! 🎈

To do this, we used a balloon as a template. Then we coated strips of paper in art paste to put onto the balloon. This was very messy and we had lots of fun! 🤪

Once our glue sets, we are going to paint them and add a basket to carry our passengers. Keep an eye out for the finished models! 👀
