People Who Help us
We had such a fun time in December learning all about Christmas and even meeting our very own elf in our classroom...he was a little bit naughty! Since starting back to school last week, we have started our new topic 'People who Help Us' where we are already learning about people who help us now and in the past. A doctors surgery has opened up in our playroom where patients have been coming to sit in the 'waiting room' while the doctor treats different patients. We also have a doctor working in the writing area to write out some prescriptions for different sick people and even have some 'blood' in our water tray which we are testing with different equipment to decide if our patients are sick or healthy. We have learnt two scientific words so far, stethoscope and syringe, have a look at our pictures and see if you can see us using these two piece of medical equipment! We can't wait for our visit from the Fire Brigade on Thursday!
