As the end of the year came to a close, Primary 5 and 6 joined forces to explore the great outdoors in Woodburn Forest. We started off by completing a scavenger hunt, searching for different things we could find around the forest. Then, we made our own 'Forest Art Gallery' creating forest animals out of natural things from the forest floor. Following this we had a frog hunt, had some lunch and went hill rolling!
Finally, as we trekked back to the bus, we completed some maths investigations; spotting angles within nature, measuring trees by looking through our legs and measuring leaves.
After 14,000 steps, we all came home exhausted!
