As part of their seashore topic, primary 4 enjoyed a visit from Esther from the RNLI in Larne 🚤
They learnt some important tips for staying safe at the beach;
S - spot the dangers
A - always go with a friend
F - flags (red and yellow - safe to swim, red only - danger)
E - emergency - call 999 and ask for the coast guard
Primary 4 were shocked to find out the cost of a life boat… a whopping £2,000,000!
They had great a great time learning all about the equipment and even trying on the life jacket!
