Primary 3 have been learning all about the Bayeux Tapestry! First we did some research about the tapestry, which was made in the 11th Century and approximately 70 metres long! It shows the story of the Battle of Hastings. We then wrote a fact file to share all the information. 📝
After that we had a go at making our own version of the Bayeux Tapestry! First we used tea to stain our paper to make it look old. Then we each drew a different section of the tapestry to retell the story of the battle! 📜
