The Fireman
Primary One have had a very busy week since starting back after our Christmas Holidays. We have learnt the number 9 as well as two of our jolly phonic sounds and also introduced our new topic of People Who Help Us. This week we have focused on learning all about firefighters. In the playroom we have been practising making ladders, driving fire engines and even practising shooting down a tower on fire in the finger gym. We were very lucky to meet real firemen too, where they taught us even more about what it's like to be a fireman, the equipment that they use and they allowed us to climb inside the fire engine and even use their HUGE hose pipe! P1 joined the fire brigade for a morning - have a look at our pictures!!
