Miss Hegarty has been working with the children on their WAU topic of 'Space' this week and today was an experiment on how moon craters are formed.
After we cleared it with Mrs Stockman that there would be some mess associated with this task, the children set about mixing the ingredients to create a moon 'surface'.
Then, using a variety of objects, the children set about creating their own craters.
PS we are happy to report that Mrs Stockman survived the ordeal in one piece and the class has been returned to former respectability.
