Titanic Walking Tour 🚢
3rd Apr 2025
P7 finished off their topic on The Titanic, by taking the train to Grand Central station in Belfast and completing a walking tour of the city linked to the great ship.
We started at City Hall by visiting the Memorial Gardens. P7 were able to locate some of the names we have been looking at who sadly lost their lives in the disaster.
Then we made our way around to the 'big fish'. We discovered that where we were standing used to be the river Farset and the significance of that forgotten river to the name Belfast.
After this, we made our way across The Lagan and visited various points of interest around The Titanic Quarter.
We finished off with lunch beside HMS Caroline before walking to Lanyon Place to get the train home...
We paid extra for the weather, but I always feel it is worth it! 😎
