This week our focus has been the number before a multiple of ten- but we found a problem! Because there were no units, how could we take away??
We did a ‘magic switcheroo’ (🤪), taking one of our tens, and exchanging it for ten units. Then we had one to take away!
We discovered that the number before a multiple of ten always goes down by one ten, and ends in a 9! 🌟
